I think this is a natural progression for Netflix and probably long overdue. After seeing the success of Youtube influencers it just makes too much sense.
People seem to really enjoy interacting live with their favorite personalities. This could be a huge boon to comedians and if Netflix is creative it could definitely open up some additional revenue streams.
I really think Netflix should consider allowing established content creators on their platforms. They have so many subscribers already big content creators could really help Netflix provide fresh content.
All of this makes me wonder if Netflix would ever consider challenging Youtube's business model directly. I think it's a lot easier for Netflix to challenge Youtube's business model than for Youtube to challenge Netflix. The executives had to have at least considered this option at some point.
With their stock on a rollercoaster ride lately I imagine that Netflix is putting all options on the table to increase revenue.

So first Elon buys some twitter shares and becomes the largest outside shareholder, then it's reported that he's gonna join the board and then it's announced that he won't be joining the board, then Elon makes a $43 billion bid, it fails and the board then adopts a poison pill plan to help prevent a hostile takeover and finally Elon buys Twitter for $44 billion😄. What a wild rollercoaster ride this has been for Elon in the month of April.
I predict twitter users will soon:
- Have the ability to post long form content, meaning that character limit will likely be going away.
- Have some type of human verification process to go through, I don't know if this will be reCAPTCHA on every post or some kind of photo requirement to authenticate that a real human is posting.
- Have some pretty big algorithm changes.

This is could news for all you digital fans out there.
I haven't bought a physical copy of a game since 2020. Im not opposed to running up to the store to grab a game but with the pandemic going on, buying digital has allowed me to reduce my footprint a little bit.
Higher speeds should also help us to reduce latency a little bit. Of course all of this will come at a premium $110 for 2 Gbps and $180 for 5Gbps. For online gamers some may end up being second class citizens. When playing a competitive online game, the players with the highest speed almost always have the advantage. I wonder if they will start matching players based on internet connection. That's something to think about.

It has begun!
More than 500 apps have added Metaverse to their name or description.
They say the early bird gets the worm and that the cream always rises to the top.
I look forward to tracking what apps, products, websites and developers are able to breakthrough and separate themselves from the pack.
The Metaverse is starting to feel like the next gold rush.

There is a very brief but insightful analysis in this video about the metaverse. This is the first time that I've encountered such a simple yet straightforward breakdown of what it could mean for both businesses and consumers.
I'm one of those people that knows next to nothing about the metaverse. I'm gonna try to rectify that this year.

- It has a 1 inch camera sensor!
- Saying that its a camera first phone second sounds pretty accurate
- It does look pretty sweet though.
- I've read this phone can shoot native 4k video at 120 frames per second
- This is definitely a phone meant for the pros.

Looks like October 13th will be the big date to keep an eye on.
A friend of mine is really hyped to see the technical breakdown comparisons between AMD and intel CPUs.
-
I must admit this phone looks high tech and quality. I wouldn't mind having one.

The Nevera is a 1,900-horsepower electric hypercar developed by Rimac and it looks AWESOME!
It looks like it will be selling for around 2.4 million.
Only 150 will be built

Wow. Lol. That would be too much. Just way too much If anybody ever decided to follow through with this I would say just make sure its on an island please. Lets have no mainland Jurassic Park imitations.
But if you were really smart enough to do this then why not put that intellect to good use and solve some of the world more pressing problems. Just saying...😅

I can definitely see some people buying this. The facemask looks pretty fashionable to me. The question is how often would you actually wear it? A part of me feels like it would just be pretty cool to own.
The official website is loading super slow, so they must be getting a lot of attention. The light colored ones look nice enough but also look like they won't go with everything. I'd wager the black ones would sell a lot better. I guess we'll see.Â
from what I've read so far the masks will have :
- An air filter
- 3 fans(presumably to keep you cool)
- Noise canceling headphones
- And headlights

Too many options can be a hassle for casual consumers. But the newest LGs will sell regardless. Its hard to pass up a CX at $1500 though.

No doubt that Sony always has some of the best tech. In my opinion their TVs are always priced at such a premium most people don't bother trying them out.

I thought this was a pretty cool little segment. Jay Leno is a car guy and you just know he's gonna be adding this to his collection.
-
I must admit this LG TV looks pretty impressive. I'm really looking forward to Samsung's microLEDs as well.
