I imagine that for Jazz fans this was a tough game to watch but as a Mavericks fan I love seeing my team get a strong win. Even though the Mavericks went up by as many as 30 points this game. I wouldn't call this one a dominant win. The Utah Jazz got plenty of great looks on offense. If they knock down some more open shots, the Mavs wouldn't have been able to dominate the pace like they did. I would think that a team like the Warriors, that have 3 elite shooters in Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole would make them pay a lot more than the Jazz did. All that being said though, I'm very satisfied with the energy that Dallas brought to the game today. I'm glad they'll get a couple days rest because they really played hard. I was disappointed to see Donovan Mitchell get injured at the end. He seemed to indicate he'll be getting an MRI sometime today. I hope its nothing serious.

It's anybody's series again. I still give the Phoenix Suns a slight edge since they have home court advantage. So far the home team has won every game of the series. If the Suns win game 5 I think they will be the overwhelming favorites based on this fact alone. But if the Bucks win game 5 I think the Suns will still have a chance because a potential GM7 would be at Phoenix and I just don't see the Bucks beating the Suns 4 times in a row. These teams are too evenly matched for that.

I see several strong targets for the Mavericks: John Collins, Zach Lavine and Ben Simmons. John Collins really showed me something in the playoffs, he seems like a strong defender and can hit those wide open threes in the short corner. Zach Lavine feels like he would be a great fit alongside Luka Doncic. It would give the Mavs a reliable second scorer and he's still pretty young if the duo works out they could be together for years. One thing that I love about Zach Lavine is that he is aggressive and has no problem shooting. He can get to the rim and make some extremely athletic plays. Ben Simmons would work great as a primary ball handler, it would take a lot of pressure off of Luka Doncic. He would have an opportunity to rest on offense and have a lot more energy to finish in the 4th quarter.
