  1. Finally Tanjiro wakes up! We got to see some more cool action scenes. Nezuko is adorable as always. I enjoyed that one brief moment after Tanjiro cuts off the head, Tanjiro begins to considers that perhaps he's still dreaming? Once again I get inception level vibes here. A dream within a dream. Although it appears that this is resolved and Tanjiro is actually now awake a thought does occur to me. That perhaps, in reality, everyone is still asleep but Rengoku and he has been fighting Enmu alone all this time, while simultaneously defending every passenger on the train. That would be some heavy heavy trickery. What if the conversation between Rengoku and Tanjiro at the beginning was also a dream. Tanjiro wakes up and discovers a half-dead Rengoku that reveals he did know something about Tanjiro's father but he succumbs to his wounds before he gets a chance to tell Tanjiro. That would fit the saw but sweet vibe that this anime has kicked off with. It is times like these that I'm glad that I never read the manga and so I have no idea what's going to come next! Also Inosuke's seeming revival at the end was pretty awesome. I love watching his fighting style!
  2. Spoilers abound! The animation is gorgeous as always. I'm glad to see that Tanjiro is slowly starting to wake up. I knew Nezuko was gonna help him! That was too obvious. Still it was cool to see how she did it. It's hilarious that Tanjiro's friends are both dreaming of Nezuko. The surprise and highlight of the episode was Tanjiro's father popping up out of nowhere telling him that there is something he must cut. Awesome scene. Another great moment was when Rengoku's unconscious body started choking that dude that was trying to destroy his spirit in the dream world. His survival instinct is strong! I really want to know Rengoku's father's backstory. I feel like we'll find out soon enough. I just knew when the kid in Tanjiro's dream world saw his inner world it would be like heaven, something really peaceful. I like how they depicted it. Side note: Am I the only one getting inception level vibes from this? They even have this weird little dream ropes that let the kids share dreams. Very inception like. If this was dragon ball z, Tanjiro would use the ropes from training. Something like 3 days in the dream world is an hour in the real world type of thing. He'd wake up with crazy skills but then his body wouldn't be able to keep up 😅 Either way great episode. My only complaint is that they are coming out one by one! The wait is difficult but I'm enjoying each episode immensely.
  3. Tanjouro and the gang finally catch up to flame Hashira Kyōjurō. I for one am very glad they didn't make them meeting up a long drawn out event. One interesting note is that it seems like Kyōjurō's father was a former Hashira and is still alive. Which only leaves me with more questions. I still feel like Tanjiro will get some more clues about his father's style but we'll see! The ending of this episode was kinda boring as all of the heroes were put to sleep. I suspect in the next 1 or 2 episodes Hanako will wake them up by coming out of her basket.
  4. They pick up right where they left off in season 1. And the animation still looks wonderful. It's very easy to see how this anime became a worldwide hit. The art is absolutely gorgeous. Rengoku is pretty cool. He really gets a chance to shine in this episode In this ep he pulls out a few flashy moves so we have a good idea of how powerful he is. But the real Mugen train arc starts in episode 2.
