I just watched season 2 episode 1. It was pretty good. Plenty of emotion. And raises the stakes a bit. I'll be interested to see where they take it from here. Right now though I'm really missing the Director's cut edition. Season 1 director's cut is what really got me into the series.

In terms of gameplay, graphics, animations etc. I give it a 9 out of 10 but in terms of personal satisfaction from beating the game, I'd say 1 out of 10. Lets just say I have some big issues with the story. And this is coming from someone that really enjoyed the first game. I have a huge problem with the ending. All that being said I still recommend everyone go play it. If you're gamer and you love to game, go check it out. I honestly didn't expect the game to be this big. Naughty dog did a great job with the level design. I think I'm approaching the end now. I should finish it up sometime this week. After I beat it I'll finally be able to read all of the user reviews and other impressions out there. I've been doing my best to avoid spoilers. So far so good. I have some personal gripes with the storyline but I've been enjoying my playthrough as it offers plenty of "water cooler moments" I've been playing at the same time as some of my friends its always fun to discuss the latest bits of the story.

Wow IGN gave the last of us 2 a 10! Gamespot gave it an 8! I've been hearing different things. No matter what it gets though I'll definitely be buying it come june 19th. IGN Review Gamespot Review
