    • This movie was fantastic.

I went to go see it on a Thursday at 3:45 pm with a theater that had "moving audio". This is the best type of theater to see the movie. You will feel every afterburn, every turn and twist. It completely changes the movie experience.

Going into see this movie I was expecting a solid sequel but what I got was an awesome movie.

The aerial scenes are gorgeous. There is nothing else like it. At least nothing else available in a mass market movie. It is simply gorgeous.

There are some call backs to the original movie but FYI to everybody, you do not need to see the first movie to enjoy this one.

They use some old footage from the old 80s movie to emphasize certain story beats. But make no mistake about it, this movie stands on its own two feet.

The trailers do a great job of showing how good the aerial scenes are in this movie. But trust me when I say they just scratch the surface. There are some great moments in this movie that have some good emotional weight behind it.

This is one of the rare times that the rotten tomato scores are 100% accurate. Right now the audience score is 99%. This movie is just so much fun.

Every time they were in the air I just couldn't stop smiling.

    • Finally the sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order has been officially announced!

      This game will be huge!

Fallen order took me by complete surprise. That game had some great gameplay mechanics and even though there was a decent amount of backtracking through old environments, it never felt like too much.

Expectations will be sky high for this one because the original was so well done.

I'm expecting game of the year level quality.

      • The Last of Us - HBO
      • Twisted Metal - Peacock
      • God of War - Amazon
      • Horizon - Netflix
      • Gran Turismo - ???
    • Star Wars Andor definitely has that Rogue one vibe to it.

The tone though doesn't have the mass market feel of previous star wars entries. I predict this series will do well.

I'm a big Diego Luna fan and I love Stellan Skarsgård in just about anything that he's in but there's something about this series that doesn't generate a lot of hype. I'll of course watch it but right now I don't have massive interest. Perhaps when I know more about the story, I'll be more into it.

    • This is great news for Sony fans. Someone over at Amazon studios must love the fantasy setting. And someone at Netflix must love the sci fi setting. All that being said neither studio has the cache of HBO. I still think The Last of Us series currently in production with HBO will be the best performer. But who knows. Maybe Amazon and Netflix will rise to the challenger. Also don't forget about the twisted metal series in production with Peacock. Sony has really spread the love. It will be interesting to see which one rises to the top.

    • So Naofumi and the crew is back to his merchant ways. I love the auction and the scheme by Naofumi to run up the price. Also the idea that the worlds are similar but still different works well. Its pretty cool to see that the items from each world have different effects based on the world that Cardinal heroes ae brought in to. It makes me wonder if we will meet Filo's equivalent in this new world. And what type of mysteries they could reveal.

The end of this ep is pretty sad. I don't like how Raphtalia gets left behind, hopefully we get more of an explanation behind that. Also it was a bit corny that Kyo's over the top evil voiceover just echoes across the room. This dude is first class cheese all the way.

This 2nd season would have been received much better if Episode 7 was the start of season 2. I feel like the first 5 episodes of this season really had fans scratching their heads and from there this season has gradually started to feel much more like the shield hero anime that we've come to expect.

    • So episode 7 wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was still quality. I found it especially surprising that they manage to breakout of the Infinite Labrynith in just 1 episode. I thought it would at least take two episodes. But kudos to the anime team, not trying to stretch things out. Its interesting that Naofumi and the gang has regressed to level 1 but it helps the show get back to its roots. Which is learning new skills and leveling up while they try to understand the new world they find themselves in.

    • Luka finally got some help from some of the other guys that were struggling. If the Mavs start to knock down there open 3 point shots then this series gets really interesting. Reggie Bullock, Maxi Kleber, Dorian Finney-Smith I'm looking at you.

Mavs took their foot off the gas and let the Warriors comeback at the end but nobody is really worried about that since the starters weren't playing.

The Mavs still have a lot of work to do if they won't accomplish what no team has in NBA history by coming back from a 3-0 deficit.

      One game at a time...

    • I've seen all the mission impossible movies and really enjoyed every single one of them. There is no doubt in my mind that this one will be awesome as well. All that being said I feel like this teaser trailer did not do a good job of conveying that mission impossible feel and generating hype for the new movie.

    • Mavs need to play hard this game. They can't allow themselves to get swept. Hopefully the coaching staff has developed a good gameplan. Everybody needs to score some points. Not just three guys. But good defense is most important.

    • It's official! Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be available on October 28th. I know its going to sell like crazy!

    • I'm hyped to see Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. I think they'll deliver the goods.

    • This new she hulk trailer actually looks like it could be some fun. I'm never gonna say no to more Hulk. But we've definitely entered unchartered territory with the MCU. Disney has to be extremely careful not to overdo things.

    • Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes and 15 seconds

I'm a big time Dallas Cowboys fan. I think this season will be interesting for several reasons.

On the offensive side of the ball we lost big time performers in Cedrick Wilson and Amari Cooper. We still have CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup but Gallup is working is way back from injury and he who knows what type of condition he will be in when the season starts. Dak Prescott made a lot of money with his new contract, with the Cowboys obvious loss of talent, this is the perfect opportunity for him to prove why he is worth so much money.

I think Zeke and Tony Pollard will be solid. It will be hard for them to produce in the open field if our offensive line doesn't dominate up front and I have no idea what to expect from them this year.

The Micah Parsons selection in the draft last year was perfect. I expect him to be even more dominant this year. But we lost Randy Gregory in free agency! That one stung because from the reports it seems like we originally had a verbal agreement and then he had a change of heart at the last minute.

Trevon Diggs showed out last season, if he is able to take another step this year our defense will still look pretty dangerous. Not to mention he is going to command a lot of money on his next contract. But he's gonna have to show up! With the loss of Randy Gregory, we may not be able to create as much pressure at the line of scrimmage.

I'm also really excited to see what Jabril Cox can do for us. His injury last year was unfortunate. We are going to need another difference maker on defense.

      2022 Draft Results
I know a lot of people aren't to enthusiastic about our draft this year but I will remind everyone in the last few years the Cowboys have hit on every single one of their first round picks. They were all difference makers immediately.

I'm excited to see what the Cowboys do with Tyler Smith. Jerry Jones was certainly excited and indicated Smith was graded extremely high on the Cowboys draft board. 2nd Round pick Sam Williams is 6'3 with a 6'8 wingspan that clocked a 4.4 40 yard dash. I know that football skills matter but I like the idea of having a lot of speed on the edge. Plus he has a really good wingspan for his height which will help him knockdown passes at the line of scrimmage.

So much to talk about while getting ready for the season. I can't wait to see how it all shakes out.

    • Luka Doncic was dominant. Spencer Dinwiddie showed up and Jalen Brunson did his thing as well. National media has been disrespecting the Mavericks all season long. At this point it is absolutely undeniable that Luka Doncic is the best player in the playoffs. He is averaging the most points, the most rebounds, the most assists and the 2nd most steals. Its mind boggling.

If Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie find a way to show up next series. Mavs might win in 5 or 6. People are trashing the Suns right now because they looked so bad against the Mavericks in game 7. They keep talking like the Suns had a bad game 7. Like the Suns just came out and didn't realize they were playing a game 7. That's the story or the narrative being pushed right now. But the reality of the situation is that the Mavs are a top 5 defense, PERIOD. The best team in the league that went to the finals the previous year didn't just lose their talent like some would have you believe. They were playing a really good defensive team that had an unstoppable offensive talent.

The Mavericks gameplan in game 6 just carried over into game 7. Jason Kidd said we are not going to let Booker get off anymore. Booker for all of his talent and skill does not YET(not that he won't ever get there) have elite playmaking skills. He also does not have elite length. So traps on the pick and roll, affect him much more than a player like Luka. Who is an elite playmaker, I think he's probably the best one but easily top 3. Not to mention he is taller, bigger and longer than Book.

In game 6 Dallas realized we need to stop hunting for threes and get the ball to touch the paint first. From there everything else just opened up. The suns have nobody that could guard Luka. When he got in pick and roll he was hunting for the best mismatch. Even when Deandre Ayton was guarding him in the paint, he found a way to score. If you decide to double him he almost always finds the open guy or gets the hockey assist he's just such a good playmaker and ball handler its really unfair.

I know Reggie Bullock did an amazing job of pressuring Chris Paul up the court but let's not forget about Frank Ntilikina, whose defensive stats against CP3 and Devin booker was amazing as well.

And let's not forget that Maxi Kleber, Reggie Bullock and Dorian Finney Smith had quiet games offensively. Any one of them are more than capable of dropping 15 points on any given night.

    • I think this is a natural progression for Netflix and probably long overdue. After seeing the success of Youtube influencers it just makes too much sense.

People seem to really enjoy interacting live with their favorite personalities. This could be a huge boon to comedians and if Netflix is creative it could definitely open up some additional revenue streams.

I really think Netflix should consider allowing established content creators on their platforms. They have so many subscribers already big content creators could really help Netflix provide fresh content.

All of this makes me wonder if Netflix would ever consider challenging Youtube's business model directly. I think it's a lot easier for Netflix to challenge Youtube's business model than for Youtube to challenge Netflix. The executives had to have at least considered this option at some point.

With their stock on a rollercoaster ride lately I imagine that Netflix is putting all options on the table to increase revenue.

    • Finally! We get an episode that feels like Shield Hero season 1. I was a bit surprised by the ending. It feels like we are about to learn a lot more about the connection between the worlds.

Naofumi finally gets a cool new shield upgrade. Supposedly he won't have to use the wrath shield anymore but I seriously doubt that. The spirit tortoise shield seems to be incredibly powerful though. There has to be some kind of drawback like perhaps a recharge time or some kind of energy requirement.

Rishia showed out. They still haven't FULLY explained how she was able to move despite the gravity effect. I'm glad Fitoria showed up. Although, I must admit she seemed to be much stronger and intimidating in the season 1.

And lastly we are starting to get more readouts from the shield view. It seems the the spirit tortoise ability allows Naofumi to kind of bend the rules a bit. I don't understand how L'arc and his party can continue to travel to Naofumi's world but the Cardinal heroes haven't been able to travel to his. Perhaps its because the Vassal heroes have special abilities that the cardinal heroes don't have. I'm still not quite sure what to think but I'm glad we are getting back to the mysterys of this world.

    • This is huge news! I was expecting Redfall to be delayed but Starfield being delayed too me by complete surprise. I must admit as a consumer I'm extremely disappointed but as a fan that's been eagerly anticipating Starfield since its announcement I want Bethesda to take their sweet time to polish the games up so they're in top notch shape when they are released. Nobody wants to be the next Cyberpunk 2077.

    • Its been awhile since I watched Westworld so I don't know what to expect from season 4. This trailer starts off incredibly weird and then starts to get really wild. Hopefully this next season really delivers the goods. It releases on June 26 2022. So we don't have long to wait! Its almost time to start the rewatch party to catch up on everything.

    • I like this new trailer. I can't wait to see Daemon Targaryen in action!

House of The Dragon releases august 21, 2022! I can't wait to see it! If you're a former game of thrones fan fear not the complete story has already been written from beginning to end. They won't need to make things up in the last seasons like they did with game of thrones.
House of the Dragon is gonna be incredible. I don't think previous game of thrones show watchers, realize just how epic this period of time will be. There is going to be a huge civil war between the Targaryens with the major houses taking different sides.
Plus we are going to see all of their epic swords and legendary dragons. If HBO really goes all out, this will be a feast for the eyes! Much more than the war of the five kings in the original game of thrones series.
No matter how you felt about Game of Thrones in its last few seasons, if you were ever a fan, trust me you will want to watch this. This will be appointment television, full of tragedy, treachery, heroism and epic battles! 🤩
